A Hypothesis of Our Interaction With Remembering in the Future
With Love, Ü investigates how future human-AI interactions may reshape the way we remember, preserve, and emotionally relate to personal memories.
El proyecto parte de la idea de que recordar no es un acto pasivo de almacenamiento, sino un proceso activo y situado, moldeado por interfaces, rituales y mediaciones tecnológicas.
Through a conceptual research framework, the thesis explores how emerging intelligent systems could influence memory formation, recall, and emotional attachment-raising questions about authorship, agency, and intimacy in human-machine relationships. Rather than proposing speculative futures, the project formulates grounded hypotheses rooted in interaction design, cognitive science, and human-centered AI.
By examining remembering as an interactional practice, With Love, Ü positions memory as a design material. The project offers a critical lens for designers and technologists working at the intersection of AI, experience design, and human meaning-making, highlighting the ethical and experiential consequences of delegating remembrance to computational systems.
