Joan Sandoval

Joan Sandoval is a creative coder and digital artist fascinated by the use of technology in creative processes and how it combines with design and the arts to transmit concepts and ideas. He has worked on projects that expand into various disciplines, including architectural light installations, performance or data visualization.
Born in Barcelona, Joan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Audiovisual Systems Engineering from Universitat Pompeu Fabra Barcelona as well as a master’s degree in Music and Media Technologies from Trinity College Dublin.
He collaborates with different artists, studios and institutions, delivering unique projects that have been presented at the Venice Biennale, Lumiere London, MNAC Lisboa, Teatros del Canal Madrid and Disseny Hub Barcelona, among others.
