Mario Santamaría

Mario Santamaría is a visual artist based in Barcelona who develops his practice through installations, photography, video and performance. In 2018, he founded Internet Tour, a tour operator dedicated to organising experiences around the physical infrastructure of the Internet.
His work has been exhibited at international centres such as ZKM Karlsruhe, C/O Berlin, WKV Stuttgart, MACBA, Aksioma Ljubljana and Arebyte London, among others. He combines his artistic production with teaching at Elisava and has been invited to academic institutions such as UC Berkeley, HSLU Luzern, The New School NY and Trinity College Dublin.
