Regina Dos Santos Estévez

Teaches Cognitive Science and Design Fundamentals

Regina Dos Santos Estévez is a UX/UI designer and front end developer specialising in user centred digital products. Her hybrid profile combines design, technology and strategic thinking, allowing her to connect conceptual vision with real world execution. She has experience across the full UX lifecycle, from user research and information architecture to prototyping, interface design and usability testing.

Alongside her design practice, Regina works as a front end developer building scalable, production ready applications within cloud based environments. She explores experimental approaches such as vibe coding and works with technologies including Firebase, cloud services and API integrations. This dual skill set enables her to bridge design and development, moving projects beyond prototypes into functional digital products.

“In my teaching, I focus on helping students understand how cognitive principles translate into concrete design and technical decisions. Learning happens through doing, experimenting and connecting ideas with real systems.”
